Dear Sir,

    We, the inhabitants of - (under Ward No. -) have been suffering a lot due to scarcity of water for a long time. The present supply is completely insufficient and most of us are to bring/carry water from distant places for daily use.

    For almost throughout the year we suffer from water scarcity but the condition becomes critical during summer. At first, we thought that necessary steps would be taken by the corporation / Municipality remains silents though we pay our taxes regularly. We, therefore, earnestly request you to increase the water supply in our area as early as possible.
