                            Subject: Regarding frequent theft.

Respected Sir,

    With due respect, we the residents of Ambari, Guwahati, would like to inform you that our locality was quite free from cases like theft and burglary due to the night patrolling of the Latashill Police Station. But of late, frequent cases of theft and burglary are being committed in the area since the night police patrolling had been withdrawn. Recently one bicycle and in another incident a Bajaj Scooter from two different houses had been stolen from the locality. 

    Therefore, the residents of Ambari hereby request you fervently to resume night patrolling by the police again in the area to stop such incidents. We believe the cases of theft and burglary shall not occur again.
